The Hatch Company Coaching approach

We are big believers that you can’t separate business from personal. We show up at work with all of those other relationships in play, and that can have a major impact on how we operate our businesses.

Many of our coaching clients struggle with creating time for themselves to pursue wellness goals, are struggling with their business partners or spouses, or need to develop the executive leadership skills required to run a larger company.

We focus on helping you build a higher level of self-awareness through the emotional intelligence framework.

There are traditional coaching practices, such as assessment, goal-setting, and behavioral coaching, and in addition, we teach you Mindfulness-based stress reduction practices that can be integrated into your daily life.

Consistent behavioral change takes time, which is why we don’t recommend doing a coaching assignment for less than 6 months.

6 months is based on our understanding human behavior and how true transformational change happens. A few things are at play here:

New research tell us it can take minimum 2 months to 8 months to form new habits.

Behavioral change requires a lot of repetition and reinforcement.

It takes time for people to trust and open up to a new coaching relationship, and even the most coachable people are often resistant to the changes at first, which takes some time to overcome.

6 months gives you more integration time into your life, allows us to coach through how to navigate them real-time.

Although our 6 month plan is our most popular and most recommended, we do offer a full day in person intensive “jump start” program for executives that need to get off the starting blocks and get traction quickly.

If you’re interested in coaching for you or your team, book a call with us so we can get started.
